These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Resuque's website, application, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using Resuque, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Beta service
Resuque is in active beta. Features, availability, and performance may change without notice. We may add, modify, or remove functionality as we refine the resume optimization experience. The Service is provided on an evolving basis and may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or updates.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Resuque. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with laws that apply to you.
Accounts
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@resuque.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Your content
You retain ownership of resumes, job descriptions, and other materials you submit (“Your Content”). You grant Resuque a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service—including using automated tools to analyze, score, and suggest edits.
You represent that:
- You have the right to submit Your Content and to grant the license above.
- Your Content does not violate third-party rights or applicable law.
- Information you provide about your experience and qualifications is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as permitted by law.
- Upload malware or content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Misrepresent AI-generated suggestions as guarantees of employment outcomes.
AI-generated output
Resuque may suggest resume wording, scores, and other outputs using automated systems. Suggestions are for informational purposes only. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before submitting applications. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, or ATS outcomes.
Intellectual property
Resuque and its branding, software, templates, and site content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or proprietary materials except as needed to use the Service.
Free and paid features
We may offer free and paid plans. Fees, billing cycles, and refund policies for paid features will be presented at purchase. We may change pricing with notice where required.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT OUTPUTS WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESUQUE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Resuque from claims arising out of Your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law applies.
